How-to for Samsung tablet

1. Connect to new Wi-Fi network from tablet

Respected Didi, please first, swipe from the top of tablet.
Then, long press on Wi-Fi icon (leftmost one). Select needed Wi-Fi network, tap on it and enter provided password.
After successfull connection return on main screen bu pressing central rounded button on the bottom of screen.

2. Using Zoom

1. To connect to zoom session: tap on link sent to you through mail (or share link from Whatsapp to email or Telegram).
alternatively, open Zoom app, press "Join" button and enter Zoom ID manually.

If to connect to Zoom session from Lighthouse just open link "Zoom Lighthouse" (this icon is from the right side of Zoom icon). 

Sharing pictures (slides) and documents in Zoom

a. Press green "Share" icon on the bottom of zoom

b. Select "Document"

c. Press icon like "three horisontal gray lines" in the top left corner of screen

d. Select  "Documents" folder

e. Select needed folder with set of sliders

f. Select and click on slide - Image of slide should appear on mail screen.

g. To stop sharing this slide: press red icon "Stop share" on the bottom of zoom

Switching between "Active Speaker" view and "Gallery view": press named icon on the left top corner of Zoom

Stop sound from other participants: press "loudspeaker" icon on the left top corner of Zoom

To leave Zoom meeting: press red button "Leave" on the tight top corner of Zoom and confirm exit.

To change my background:

a. once press "blue camera with stars" icon in the left area of Zoom.

b. select : "Image" from menu

Switch camera (front or bottom): press named "camera" icon on the left top corner of Zoom

 

Showing videos, slides, documents etc. on external display (TV, projector)

Connect special Samsung cable: one end of cable insert into tablet, HDMI connector insert into external device. By default all screen contents is mirrored on external screen.

  1. To show images, videos, documents: open "Files" app (leftmost icon in the bottom row of tablet screen).
  2. Tap on "Internal storage" item in the left row of "Files" app
  3. Find related folder and tap on media item in it.
  4. For videos: after taping video should play as it is.
  5. For images (photos, image slides etc): there is bottom row to select proper image in folder. Once tap on central image - it opens in full screen mode. Tap again - returnd to bottom images gallery.

5. Share attachments from mail (to send via Telegram, etc):

Didi, you please tap on attachment to open it.

- if it is document or sheet this will open in WPS office (which abbreviation means Writer, Presentation and Spreadsheets). In opened document you will see icon with "arrow over bracket" (third from top right). Tap in it and share.
- if it is image or video then you will see "share" icon in the bottom line (the same as in iPhone)
 

6.Share media items (videos, photos etc) from Yandex.disk.

Didi, you please open Yandex.disk, then tap on "Files" tab in bottom line.
Then you can enter any folder to see its contents.
To share some item, first long press on desired item until selection circles appear. Then press on share icon on the top right and select "Share link".
